Odoo Applications Developer

Odoo is an Open Source ERP system from Belgium. It has a rich set of business solutions with the ability to extend with custom modules. 

As an Odoo Applications Developer at NavyBits, you will be responsible of developing new Odoo applications and maintaining existing modules.

 You will work with our web applications and mobile applications teams to integrate with mobile apps that work with Odoo. 

 We expect that you are fluent in web technologies like HTML, CSS and Javascript and  that you understand Python. We also expect that you love working with numbers and that you are familiar with basic accounting and payroll. This means that you will help with technical decisions, research, documentation implementation and collaboration with other engineers.

What you'll do:

• Collect and Document business requirements.
  
• Develop and Implement solutions using Odoo.
  
• Apply software Engineering best practices to guarantee future maintainability.
• Assist in data migration from other software to Odoo
• Develop migration scripts and ETL procedures
  
• Thoroughly test and validate your code to maintain quality.
  
• Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders

• Python, XML, XPath, CSS, HTML and Javascript
  
• Basic understanding of Accounting, Inventory and Payroll
  
• Fluent in MS. Excel
