General Manager of NavyBits participated as a jury member of Theemar Business Idea Competition in Tripoli

Mr. Hassan Tabbal, General Manager of NavyBits, participated as a jury member of Theemar Business Idea Competition in Tripoli.
 
Theemar Tripoli Investment Fund is a USD25million multi-stage private equity fund dedicated to invest in SMEs and entrepreneurs in Tripoli.
Theemar's main objectives is to create economic growth and increase employment. The fund is looking to invest in entrepreneurs and SMEs in different stages of evolution, from early stage (prototype completed) to maturity stage, as long as there is significant potential for growth. 
Theemar Business Idea Competition is a 3 months university-based competition organized by Theemar Tripoli Investment Fund.

The competition started on 9th of January 2018. 

The purpose of the competition is to develop the entrepreneurship ecosystem and culture in North Lebanon. 

It aims to encourage university students to become young entrepreneurs by helping them in turning their business ideas into workable concepts.

The winners of the competition were : 
- Team "IngREADients" from the Lebanese University, First Place.
- Team "Leb E-Guide" from City University,Second Place.
- Team "Lucy" from Beirut Arab University for winning, Third Place.


Congratulations to all winners and we wish them the best of luck in turning these brilliant ideas into successful businesses. 

Kudos to Theemar Investment Fund for the successful event which showed the huge talent potential hidden in Tripoli and Lebanon as a whole.
