Odoo support · Rescue · Takeover
Your Odoo is stuck? We take it from here.
Stalled after go-live, left behind by a partner, or held back by custom code nobody can explain. We assess where your Odoo stands, fix what is broken and maintain it afterwards, whoever built it.
What we look at first.
- How the system is used, and where people work around it
- Configuration against how you really operate
- Every custom module: what it does, how safe it is
- Data you can trust, and data you cannot
- The path to a supported Odoo version
- What to fix first, and what it costs
NDA signed before we see your system
How a takeover works
We do not start by rewriting. We start by understanding what you have.
Assess
NDA first, then the takeover assessment: usage, setup, custom code, data and upgrade path.
output: written reportStabilize
The urgent fixes first: whatever blocks daily work or puts data at risk.
output: a system that holdsFix & simplify
Configuration corrected, custom code repaired or replaced by standard Odoo where it can be.
output: less to maintainUpgrade
When it makes sense: moved to a supported version, tested on a copy before your live system.
output: a current versionTrain
Your team retrained on how the system works now, with written documentation.
output: people who trust itMaintain
Support, refinements and upgrades from a team that knows your system.
output: a system that keeps upWhat maintenance covers.
For systems we built and for systems someone else did. We take responsibility for keeping them correct and secure, on a best-effort basis.
A team that knows your setup
Questions answered by engineers who have read your configuration and your code.
Fixes and refinements
A prioritized list of improvements, agreed with you and worked through in order.
Upgrades without surprises
Version upgrades planned ahead and tested on a copy first.
Training as people change
New staff trained on your system, not on a generic demo.
When we will tell you to start over.
Not every Odoo can be saved, and patching a broken foundation costs more every year.
Whatever the answer, you get it in writing.
The assessment tells you whether to fix, upgrade or rebuild, and why. The decision stays yours.

If the core configuration contradicts your business, fixing it piece by piece costs more than doing it right once.
Custom code replaces what Odoo already does
Large custom modules that rebuild standard features are usually cheaper to remove than to maintain.
The data cannot be trusted at all
When stock and accounting have drifted too far, a clean start with migrated master data is often the honest answer.

Questions about taking over an Odoo system
Straight answers. If yours is not here, ask it on the call.
Can you take over an Odoo system another partner built?
Yes. We maintain systems built by others as well as our own. Every takeover starts with an assessment, so we understand your setup before we change it.
Do you need access to our database and code?
Yes, for the assessment. We sign an NDA before we receive any code or data.
Can you guarantee the system will work?
Nobody honestly can. We take responsibility for keeping it correct and secure on a best-effort basis, and we tell you in writing what we find, including the risks we cannot remove.
Can you upgrade us to the latest Odoo version?
Usually, yes. The assessment shows what your customizations need first; the upgrade is tested on a copy of your system before it touches the live one.
Will you rewrite everything?
No. We keep what works, fix what does not, and replace custom code with standard Odoo only where it makes the system simpler to maintain.
What does it cost?
The takeover assessment starts at $1,000. Fixes, upgrades and maintenance are priced from its findings, so you know the scope before you commit.
