Winners Academy, the backstory

If you are a young fresh university graduate, there is a high likelihood that you faced this problem, or know someone who did.

Proud of your degree, you applied to multiple companies only to get ghosted or rejected.

The reason? Most of the time it's the gap between what you learned to earn your degree and what businesses actually need for their daily operations. 

The gap is real and it's only getting bigger. 

With the advent of AI, every month is bringing new challenges and fast innovation, making it impossible for universities to catch up and raising the bar of what businesses need, making it less likely to get your first job. 

NavyBits wanted to change that. 

That's why we launched "Winners Academy" as a dedicated unit operating under guidance of NavyBits and its team of developers and subject matter experts. 

Who can join Winners Academy?

The philosophy of Winners Academy is to make real-world experience available to everyone. We accept students in Tripoli, Lebanon or Beirut Lebanon, but geographic location is not a limit. The majority of our courses and programs are online, making it possible for anyone to join, from Jordan, Syria, Saudi Arabia, UAE or anywhere in the world. 

Winners Academy by NavyBits follows a different approach to education. 

To learn the basics, you need to finish your graduation degree. This is the role of universities or technical institutions and their renowned staff of academics. You need to have solid foundations, especially in algorithms, before joining any of our programs. 

Winners Academy Unique Methodology

We follow a hands-on, project inspired education methodology, where projects mimic real-life problems that we face daily at NavyBits. 

The role of the instructor in our programs is to coach you and mentor you. We show you the way, and help you gain the skills and build your portfolio projects. We know the path to your first job and we will guide to win it. 

After completing a course, you will get a verifiable certificate with unique certification ID that you can show to your future employers.

Programs offered by the Winners Academy, from NavyBits, follow three (3) categories : 

1- Online Courses : These can be individual courses or a program of multiple courses, all provided remotely (online) through live sessions. Your mentor will be an experienced developer transferring his knowledge to you and guiding you to learn the required skills. 

2- Elite Mentorship Program : This is an on-site program where you join our offices in Tripoli, Lebanon to gain real-life experience in a team and corporate setup. At the end of the program, you take an exam. Pass the exam to get a "Certificate of Internship" at NavyBits. Those who pass the exam with high grades have the chance to join NavyBits for an extended internship, where they get back their investment in the program. 

3- Apprentice Program : This is offered to universities and NGOs who need to empower their students or beneficiaries with real-world experience. This program is in collaboration between Winners Academy and NavyBits.
