How much does Odoo cost? You pay for Odoo under two separate agreements. One is with Odoo for the licences, plus Odoo's hosting and AI credits if you use them. The other is with the partner who sets Odoo up for you, for the assessment, the build and the support afterwards. Odoo Community is free, and Odoo Enterprise is priced per user per month. On odoo.com/pricing, viewed from the UAE on 7 November 2026, the Standard plan was US$16.90 and the Custom plan US$32.00 per user per month, billed yearly. Prices in Lebanon and other countries are different, so select your country on Odoo's pricing page to see yours. Below are both sides of the bill and three complete example budgets.

Two agreements: Odoo and your partner

When you start with Odoo Enterprise, you sign two agreements, and each one covers different things.

  • Your agreement with Odoo covers the licences for your users, hosting on Odoo Online or Odoo.sh if you choose them, and usage services such as AI credits. You pay Odoo directly, at the price Odoo shows for your country.
  • Your agreement for the implementation covers the work of fitting Odoo to your business. You can sign it with an Odoo partner such as NavyBits, or with Odoo directly through its Success Packs, which are blocks of consulting hours.

Partners usually leave the Odoo licences out of their quotation, and that's how we work at NavyBits. You get the licence price straight from Odoo, clearly listed, and you pay Odoo yourself with nobody in between. The partner's quote covers only the partner's own work, so it's easier to read and compare.

Two Odoo agreements: one with Odoo for licences, hosting and AI credits, one with your partner for Assess, Build and Maintain

You pay Odoo for the software and your partner for the work, under two separate agreements.

Odoo licence prices in 2026

Odoo comes in two editions. Community is open source and free to download. It leaves out Studio, the full Accounting app and other apps, and Odoo doesn't support or upgrade it for you. Enterprise is the paid edition, sold as a subscription per user. The prices below are the ones Odoo listed for the UAE on 7 November 2026, in US dollars. Prices in Lebanon and other countries are different, so check Odoo's pricing page and select your country for the real figure.

  • One App Free: $0 for one app with unlimited users, hosted on Odoo Online. If the app needs others to work, those come free too.
  • Standard: $16.90 per user per month billed yearly, or $21.10 billed monthly. All apps, hosted on Odoo Online. New users get a first-year price of $13.50 (yearly) or $16.90 (monthly).
  • Custom: $32.00 per user per month billed yearly, or $40.00 billed monthly. All apps, plus Studio, Odoo's agentic AI, multi-company, the external API and the choice of Odoo Online, Odoo.sh or your own server. The first-year price for new users is $25.50 (yearly) or $32.00 (monthly).
  • Light users: $5.90 per user per month for staff who only use limited functions, such as their own time off, expenses, payslips or the Point of Sale.

You only pay for internal users. Customers and suppliers who use the portal or your online shop are free.

The plan you need depends on how you work. If you run more than one company in the same database, need Studio, connect another system through the API or need custom modules, you're on Custom. That's the case for most companies that need local features Odoo doesn't ship, such as dual-currency accounting in Lebanon.

Hosting: Odoo Online, Odoo.sh or your own server

Odoo Online is Odoo's own cloud. It's included in every Enterprise plan, with backups and upgrades, and runs standard Odoo only, without custom modules.

Odoo.sh is Odoo's cloud platform for databases with custom code. It comes with the Custom plan and Odoo bills it on top of the licence, based on server capacity, storage and the staging copies you keep for testing. The prices are on odoo.sh/pricing.

Your own server, in your office or with a cloud provider, is the third option, and the only one for Community. The server bill can be low, but someone has to install, secure, back up and update it, and that work has a cost too.

AI credits in Odoo 20

Odoo 20's AI features, from the AI agents to document scanning, run on credits bought from Odoo through its In-App Purchase (IAP) service. On 7 November 2026 they cost €1.00 each, in packs of 10 to 1,000, with 20 free credits to start, and they don't expire. Usage depends on the feature and the size of each request, so start with a small pack and watch it for a month before you set a budget. SMS and other IAP services are paid to Odoo the same way.

Professional services: Assess, Build and Maintain

The second agreement covers the work that turns Odoo into your system. At NavyBits we split it into three parts. You can buy them separately, and some companies build part of the system themselves and come to us for the assessment and the support.

Assess: know what you need before you build

The assessment comes first. We map how your business runs today, from sales and purchasing to stock, accounting and payroll, and compare it with what Odoo does out of the box. That's the gap analysis. It shows which apps you need, what data has to move and where something has to be built or connected. You get a written report with what to set up, what to build and in what order, so the build can be quoted on facts.

A typical Odoo assessment costs around $3,000. After the free call we send an official quote for your business, and when the budget is tight we can shape a smaller assessment around it.

Build: set up, connect and go live

The build is usually the largest part of the work. These are the things that make it bigger or smaller:

  • Apps and processes: Sales and Invoicing for one team is a small build. Manufacturing, multi-warehouse inventory, landed costs or approval chains add setup and testing.
  • Users and companies: More users means more roles, access rights and training. Several companies or branches add intercompany rules and consolidated reporting.
  • Data migration: Moving customers, products, open balances and stock is simple when the data is clean. Years of history from an old system, or data spread over spreadsheets, takes longer to map, clean and check.
  • Custom development: Every module built for you has to be written, tested and kept working at each Odoo upgrade. This is where budgets grow fastest, so we use standard features and configuration first.
  • Integrations: Links to a bank, a payment gateway, an online marketplace, a delivery company or a machine on the factory floor each need building and testing.
  • Localization: Local tax, payroll and invoicing rules. In Saudi Arabia that means ZATCA e-invoicing, in Turkey e-invoicing through Nilvera, and in Lebanon dual-currency books and CNSS payroll. Some are in standard Odoo, others need extra modules.
  • Training and go-live: Teams learn the new way of working, and someone stays close in the first weeks to fix problems quickly.

Two quotes for the same project can be far apart because one includes data cleanup, testing and training and the other leaves them to you. Our guide on how to choose an Odoo partner lists the questions to ask before you compare prices.

Maintain: support, fixes, upgrades and new needs

An Enterprise subscription includes Odoo's own support for bugs in the standard apps and the upgrade of those apps to new versions. It doesn't cover custom code, your configuration or training new staff. Modules built for you need someone to fix them when something breaks and adapt them at each new version. New needs come up too, such as a new branch or a new tax rule. You can cover this with a monthly block of support hours or pay for hours when you need them. Our Odoo support service covers systems we built and systems built by others.

Community users get neither support nor upgrades from Odoo, so that work falls on your team or a partner. Odoo releases a major version every year and supports each one for about three years. Odoo 20 came out in September 2026, so plan an upgrade every few years in your budget.

Hidden costs of Odoo

These rarely appear on a quote, and they're often what pushes a project over budget:

  • Data cleanup: Duplicate customers, old products and wrong opening balances have to be fixed before they move, or they'll follow you into Odoo.
  • Your team's time: Key users spend days in workshops, testing and checking data. Plan for it, especially in finance and the warehouse.
  • Fixing a rushed setup: A project that skipped testing or training often needs a second round of work a few months later. It costs more than doing it properly the first time.

Our article on the pros and cons of Odoo ERP covers where these risks come from and how to plan around them.

Complete Odoo budget examples

The three companies below are made-up illustrations. The licence figures are the prices Odoo listed for the UAE on 7 November 2026, in US dollars, billed yearly. Your country's price will be different, so check Odoo's pricing page and select your country. Build and Maintain are shown as the effort they usually take, in person-days and support hours. They vary with scope, and we quote them for your business after the assessment.

Example 1: a 10-user distributor on Sales, Inventory and Accounting

One company, one warehouse, no custom modules.

  • Odoo licence: the Standard plan for 10 users. At the UAE list price that's 10 × $16.90 = $169 a month, or $2,028 a year ($1,620 in the first year at the new-user price). Check your country's price on odoo.com/pricing.
  • Hosting: Odoo Online, included in the plan.
  • Assess: a typical Odoo assessment, around $3,000.
  • Build: about 15 to 30 person-days for products, prices, stock rules, the chart of accounts, importing customers and opening balances, and training the sales, warehouse and finance teams. Messy data or an extra warehouse moves it up. Clean data and a simple price list move it down.
  • Maintain: about 4 to 8 support hours a month for questions, small changes and new reports. It's usually higher in the first months after go-live.

Example 2: a 25-user manufacturer with two companies

Two companies in one database, Manufacturing and Inventory, local tax and payroll rules, and a link to an online shop.

  • Odoo licence: multi-company and custom modules mean the Custom plan for 25 users. At the UAE list price that's 25 × $32.00 = $800 a month, or $9,600 a year ($7,650 in the first year). Check your country's price on odoo.com/pricing.
  • Hosting: Odoo.sh, billed by Odoo, sized for 25 users and at least one staging copy for testing.
  • Assess: a typical Odoo assessment, around $3,000.
  • Build: about 60 to 120 person-days for manufacturing, intercompany rules, localization, the shop integration, data migration and training in both companies. Each extra integration or custom module moves it up. Standard manufacturing flows and clean data move it down.
  • Maintain: about 15 to 30 support hours a month, covering the custom modules, user support and the work to keep them ready for each new Odoo version.

Example 3: a 3-user service firm that only invoices

Three people send quotes and invoices and follow payments.

  • Odoo licence: one app, so the One App Free plan covers it at $0. If the firm later adds a second app, such as Project or CRM, it moves to the Standard plan at its country's price.
  • Hosting: Odoo Online, included.
  • Assess: a smaller assessment, shaped around the firm's budget.
  • Build: about 2 to 5 person-days to set up invoice templates, taxes and payment follow-up, import customers and train the team.
  • Maintain: a few hours when needed, with no monthly block.

One complete budget for the example distributor. The licence is the UAE list price, and your country's price will differ.

Odoo price in Lebanon

Odoo's licence prices in Lebanon aren't the UAE prices shown above. To see them, open Odoo's pricing page and select Lebanon. What changes the rest of the budget is the localization. Books in two currencies, CNSS payroll and VAT reporting need extra modules on top of standard Odoo. Our Lebanon localization suite covers all of this, and it's reviewed by our clients' auditors and accountants. Because it's a set of modules, an Enterprise database that uses it needs the Custom plan with Odoo.sh or your own server, and that belongs in the budget from the start. We do the same work for local rules in Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Turkey, South Africa and Canada.

FAQ

Is Odoo free?

Odoo Community is free to download and use, and the Enterprise edition has a One App Free plan for a single app with unlimited users. You still pay for setup, and with Community for hosting and support. Most companies that use several apps pay for Enterprise.

How much does Odoo cost per user?

It depends on your country. On 7 November 2026, Odoo listed the Standard plan for the UAE at $16.90 per user per month billed yearly and the Custom plan at $32.00, with lower prices for the first 12 months on new users. Prices in Lebanon and other countries are different. Select your country on Odoo's pricing page to see yours.

How much does Odoo implementation cost?

It comes in three parts. A typical Odoo assessment costs around $3,000 and comes first. The build depends on your apps, users, data, custom work, integrations and localization, from a few person-days for one app to a few months of work for a larger company. Support is ongoing. A partner can only quote the build after looking at your processes.

Does the partner's quote include the Odoo licences?

Usually not, and at NavyBits it doesn't. You sign one agreement with Odoo for the licences and hosting and pay Odoo directly, at the price shown for your country. The partner's quote covers only its own work: the assessment, the build and the support.

Do I pay for Odoo upgrades?

With Enterprise, the upgrade of Odoo's standard apps is included in the subscription. Custom modules, data cleanup and retraining are paid for separately, as part of your support. Community upgrades are done by your team or a partner.

Do AI features in Odoo 20 cost extra?

Yes. Odoo's AI features use credits bought from Odoo through its IAP service, €1.00 per Odoo AI credit on 7 November 2026, with 20 free credits to start. Usage depends on the feature and the size of each request.
